Hannes served as Managing Director during a formative period in the university's development.
He co-created the degree programs MultiMediaArt and Digital Television & Interactive Services, bringing international industry practice into the curriculum through leading filmmakers, producers, VFX artists, and post-production specialists.
He shaped both by recruiting international industry practitioners as guest lecturers — among them VFX supervisor Robin Aristorenas (The Avengers, Interstellar, Game of Thrones), showrunner Manny Coto (Star Trek: Enterprise, 24), producer Jennie Lew Tugend (Lethal Weapon, Free Willy), and Peter F. Doyle, supervising colorist on The Lord of the Rings and the Harry Potter series.
